Service Management Analyst

Astra Solutions is now seeking a Service Management Analyst for our client in Tulsa, OK.  This contract is slated for 6+ months.  

Rate: $25 - 28/hr.

Provide Service Management support to the IT organization 
- Review of each change request for accuracy and adherence to standard policy 
- Weekly review of changes with users of exception reports to address unauthorized change requests and those not following the process 
- Review of Aging Incident monitoring & cleanup 
- Monthly open change cleanup 
- Daily and weekly ServiceNow reports for Change requests; CMDB Configuration item (CI) filtering and cleanup for correct maintenance/outage windows and approval groups 
- Attend staff meetings when required to discuss any issues for Incident, Request and Change 

ServiceNow application support– 
- Provide daily ServiceNow support for users across the application 
- Answer infrequent questions for Service Management processes and tool 
- Assist in release testing of new ServiceNow required releases where required 
- Basic ServiceNow metrics 
- ServiceNow testing of Service Management processes 

Systems experience required for ServiceNow, SharePoint, Excel, Word

Ideal candidate will have a solid IT background in desktop support or application support who has dealt with change requests. 
This role deals with processing change requests and supporting Service Now. 
Experience with Change Management is preferred but it needs only to be a year or two.
