Astra Solutions is now seeking a Business Analyst with HR, and/or Application Development experience.  This position is a full-time role in Tulsa, OK.  

Annual Salary: $115,000-120,000/yr. + annual bonus.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build strong working relationships with Leaders in the HR business/functional area
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and Business Partner between Information Technology Application and Infrastructure team(s) and Business/End user team(s)
  • Responsible for annual budget analysis and cost management for HR Application area including projects, ongoing maintenance, support and licensing
  • Working with outsource provider to translate business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to best practice and data architecture standards
  • Conduct requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, making recommendations based on information collected
  • Ensure maintenance, development and enhancement of existing application systems meets the organizational business objectives and Information Technology standards
  • Remediate application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, Incident, Change and Problem management standards using Service Now leveraging technical resources from outsource provider
  • Evaluate, develop and implement new application systems. Lead the effort to translate business functional requirements to technical requirements to ensure successful service delivery by outsource provider
  • Conduct business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for cost reduction, avoidance, and improved application performance
  • Interact and resolve issues with other IT support teams including Applications, Infrastructure, and Outsource Provider
  • Modernize, upgrade and conduct application health checks as required to ensure system stability
  • Work with assigned resources to manage project related activities for assigned applications
  • Conduct system access reviews for application area
  • Advise and consult with other team members and outsource provider team members
  • Competent to work in some phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment
  • Prepare recurring application dashboard metrics and report to show analysis on specific key data points and provide cost transparency for applications
Key Success Factors:
  • Ability to work successfully on cross functional teams in a matrix environment including outsourced teams
  • Possess understanding of application outsourcing support agreements and experience executing within those support agreements working directly with an outsourced team
  • Understanding of Software as a Service (SAAS) Agreements
  • Understanding of SDLC Lifecycle/Project Management Methodologies and PLC
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance assessment methodologies and standards 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Information Technology, MIS, or HR discipline preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry knowledge is preferred Human Resource Functions and/or HR/HRIS Processes,
  • 8-10 years relevant work experience:  Business Analyst, HR, and/or Application Development experience required
  • Experience working with an outsourced provider and team
